Governors State men’s indoor track & field put together a strong all-around showing, highlighted by a win and a third-place finish in the 5000, plus a podium finish in the 4×800 relay. Across the meet, the Jaguars showed real depth, from the sprints to the jumps to the distance races, with multiple athletes cracking the top 10 and delivering points in key spots.
Distance group sets the tone

Looking Ahead
The Jaguars now turn their attention to the biggest stage of the season: the NAIA Nationals, beginning Thursday, March 5, in Gainesville, Florida (athree-day meet). With a championship-level performance in the 5000 and a relay podium already on the board, GovState heads into nationals with momentum and real upside.
