Work for Jaguar Student Media!
- Working with Jaguar Student Media (JSM) is a great way to get writing and production experience that benefits you regardless of your career path. Jaguar Student Media has both paid and volunteer opportunities.
Paid Positions with JSM:
- Members of all Jaguar Student Media teams work 10 – 20 hours a week starting at $15/hour. There are mandatory, on campus meetings for each team. Members of Jaguar Student Media get exclusive access to the brand new Jaguar Student Media Newsroom. Jobs are open to students with and without Federal Work Study.
- We’re looking for:
- Writers for The Phoenix
- This is where most Jaguar Student Media team members begin. Strong writing skills are key to all roles at Jaguar Student Media.
- Video Producers + Editors for GovState News
- Must have prior video production and editing experience or classroom work.
- Audio Producers + Editors for Radio Jaguar
- Must have prior audio production and editing experience or classroom work.
- NEW: Digital Media Manager for Jaguar Student Media
- This person supports Jaguar Student Media’s presence on Instagram, Jaguar Connection, and the Jaguar Student Media website.
- Writers for The Phoenix
Volunteer Opportunities with JSM:
- Already have a work-study gig? No problem. Students interested in having a show on Radio Jaguar or writing a story for The Phoenix can do so on a volunteer basis.
