Students at Govstate looking for a relaxed, low-pressure way to sharpen their professional skills and expand their network will have the perfect opportunity this March. The Office of Career Services is hosting the Putt & Pitch Social Hour on Wednesday, March 4, from 3–4:30 p.m. in the Hall of Governors  an event designed to make career preparation both fun and approachable.

Unlike traditional workshops or formal networking sessions, this event blends mini-golf with career development. Students can practice their elevator pitch while enjoying a casual game, creating an environment where conversations happen naturally. Mentors and career professionals will be on hand to coach participants, offer feedback, and help refine introductions that could make a lasting impression at internships, job fairs, and interviews. It’s a setting that removes the pressure and replaces it with confidence-building experiences.
