The University Park Metra station continues to undergo extensive improvements as part of a two-phase construction project focused on replacing the entrance canopy roof systems and upgrading drainage on both sides of the station.

During Phase Two, all passenger entry and exit will be directed to the West entrance only. The GovState shuttle will operate exclusively from the West side throughout the remainder of the project.
Metra will share ongoing updates, posting notices at the station and making announcements onboard trains to keep travelers informed of changes.
