The Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) Honor Society, Theta Chapter at Governors State University, invites the campus community to join in a special celebration of achievement and leadership as the chapter holds its induction ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 8,  from 3 to 5 p.m. in Room F1622.

This formal event recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and dedication in the fields of computing and information sciences, marking the students’ entrance into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honor society that celebrates scholarship and service in computing disciplines.

Family members, friends, faculty, and guests are warmly invited to attend and support the new inductees as they are welcomed into this distinguished community of computing professionals and scholars. The ceremony will not only celebrate their hard work and accomplishments but also highlight the values of innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning that define the world of technology.
