Last-Second Shot Sends GSU to CACC Soccer Championship Game

GSU freshman Juan Manuel Rodriguez put a shot into the back of the net with just four seconds left in regular time to end a scoreless semifinal game on the Jaguars’ field against Lincoln College in the CACC Tournament.

The victory propelled the third-seeded Jaguars into the CACC championship game in Milwaukee on April 17. They will face the first-seeded Cardinal Stritch University.

The two teams have only met one other time this season, when the Wolves defeated the Jaguars 4-1.
