On Nov. 5, the GovState women’s basketball team will receive their CCAC Championship rings before tipping off the 2025-26 season against Aquinas College.

The ring ceremony, set for 5:30 p.m. in the Gymnasium (ARC), will honor the 2024-25 team’s conference championship, which is a historic achievement that brought home GovState’s first CCAC title. Each player will receive a custom ring commemorating their unforgettable season.

Fans are encouraged to wear black and pack the gym to celebrate the team’s success and kick off the new season with energy. The ceremony will be followed by the season home opener at 6 p.m. The Jaguars will look to defend their title and start the year strong against Aquinas College.

It’s definitely a night to remember what was accomplished and get excited for what’s ahead. Mark your calendars, wear black, and be ready to cheer on the Jaguars!
