Homecoming 2025 is almost here! This year’s theme is Jaguar Mania, with a week packed with spirit, competition, and community.

The excitement kicks off Sunday, Oct. 26, with the Jaguar 5K at 9 a.m., inviting runners to support GovState while enjoying the scenic route through campus. Note that some of the roads around the school will be closed that morning to accommodate the race.

Monday offers Club Wars in the Hall of Honors at 1 p.m., where student organizations will face off in high high-energy challenges.

Tuesday’s Jaguar Culture Fest is at noon in the Hall of Governors, which celebrates global traditions through food, dance, and art.

Wednesday evening, Greek Life hosts the Homecoming Bonfire Bash on the Hall of Governors Patio at 7 p.m. If you’re interested, they will have games, music, and refreshments under the stars!

The week builds toward Thursday’s main event: the Jaguar Mania Pep Rally at 1 p.m. This year, the rally moves from the gym to the Hall of Governors. Students will be able to cheer on teams, connect, and show their Jaguar pride.

Finally, Halloween night wraps things up with the Student Activities Council’s Nightmare on University Parkway in the E-Lounge at 10 p.m. Bring your friends, put on your best costume, and compete for prizes!
