The Governors State women’s bowling team continued its fall season with a steady performance at the Midwest Collegiate Day 2 event in Sterling Heights, Michigan, led by standout junior Haley Leuze, who rolled a total of 963 pins, averaging 192.6 across her games.
The Jaguars’ balanced effort also featured strong contributions from juniors Kahlen Ranson (949), Cameryn Landers (945), and Samantha Mann (941), each turning in consistent scores to keep GovState competitive in a talented field.
Leuze’s near-200 average paced the Jaguars, while Ranson, Landers, and Mann anchored the middle of the lineup with steady shotmaking and lane adjustments throughout the day. Their combined consistency helped the team maintain momentum across all rounds of competition.
The Jaguars will look to build on their Midwest Collegiate performance as they continue their fall schedule, aiming for even higher finishes in upcoming tournaments.
