Zavala broke early with the front group and maintained his pace across the second half of the 8K course, logging one of his best outings this season. O’Brien followed close behind, keeping the Jaguars well inside the top 30. Rocio and Mohamed worked together in the middle pack to stabilize the team’s scoring position, while DeLeon’s final kilometer push locked GovState into ninth overall, just outside the top eight behind Missouri Baptist.
