A strong opening mile from Flowers set the tone, as the freshman broke into the lead pack early and never fell outside the top 10. Stanko anchored the middle group with a steady push through the second half, while Kittl and Pieczynski closed the gap late to hold off a surge from St. Ambrose. Rodriguez rounded out the scoring five, helping secure GovState’s fifth-place finish ahead of Mount Mercy and William Woods.
