With finals fast approaching, Governors State University’s Counseling and Wellness Center is offering students a much-needed opportunity to relax and recharge. The Cocoa, Coffee, and Cram de-stress event will take place on Thursday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Engbretson Hall, B1200.
Students are invited to enjoy warm beverages like cocoa, coffee, and tea, along with light breakfast snacks in a cozy, calming atmosphere. The space will feature dim lighting, relaxing music, soft pillows, and blankets, creating an ideal environment to study, unwind, or simply take a break.
In addition to the refreshments and serene setting, the first 10 students to arrive will receive a relaxing gift as a token of encouragement and self-care.
This event is designed to remind students that taking a moment to pause and care for their well-being is just as important as academic preparation.
