Students came together on Wednesday, April 23, for the Fraternity & Sorority Bonfire, an evening event hosted at the HOG Patio on Governors State University’s campus. Running from 7 to 9 p.m., the event offered an opportunity for students to connect, relax, and celebrate the end of the semester.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the evening, including dancing, music, and casual conversation around the fire. Traditional bonfire treats such as s’mores and ice cream were available, adding to the festive and welcoming atmosphere.
The bonfire provided a space for students to unwind, meet new people, and create lasting memories. Organizers noted a strong turnout and expressed appreciation for the positive energy that carried through the night.
The event concluded with students leaving energized, connected, and looking forward to future campus gatherings.
