The College of Graduate Studies invites everyone to unwind and recharge at the next Thrive Wellness Event, an on-campus session committed to supporting physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Hall of Governors.
Accessible to every student, the Thrive event offers a participatory, interactive experience with wellness-related activities, resources, and sources of self-care. From stress-relieving strategies to health education materials, students can learn methods for enhancing well-being within an informal, beneficial environment.
“Thrive is not just about taking a break,” said an event coordinator from the College of Graduate Studies. “It’s about providing students with resources to take care of their whole selves—not only finals, but throughout the year.”
Registration is required. A QR code for registration is on the digital flyers being distributed around campus and through email.
While balancing the demands of the semester, university officials believe the wellness-themed event will be a reminder that self-care is the key to academic achievement.
Whether you require stress reduction, wish to create healthy routines, or simply need to connect with other students in a positive setting, Thrive will be a valuable aside on your road to wellness.
For information and to RSVP, students can look at the event flyer or contact the College of Graduate Studies.
