On Thursday, April 24, Governors State University will host “GovState Night” at the Art Institute of Chicago—a celebration of art, community, and culture open to all GSU students, faculty, staff, and their guests. The event runs from 5 to  8 p.m., but early arrivals are welcome.

Free admission is available for anyone with a valid GSU ID, who may bring up to 10 guests free of charge. Attendees simply need to show one ID per group at the entrance to receive tickets. “GovState Night” is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to arts education and cultural engagement, and offers students a unique opportunity to experience one of the world’s premier art museums without cost.
