The Upsilon Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is hosting an interactive civic engagement event titled “Writing on the Wall” in Engbretson Hall on Tuesday, April 8, from noon to 2 p.m.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to voice their concerns regarding local, state, and federal government issues. Participants can write a letter addressing critical political issues or write their messages on Post-It notes for an interactive display. These statements will be compiled and presented alongside Upsilon Rho’s collective letter to elected officials.
Alpha Kappa Alpha planned this powerful visual representation to highlight key campus community issues and help guide future advocacy efforts. All are encouraged to attend and make their voices heard. Paper, pens, and tables will be provided.
