Governors State University was bustling with excitement on Thursday, Jan. 23, as students explored career opportunities at the annual Job Fair. Alongside meeting potential employers, attendees had the chance to engage with several campus organizations that showcased the vibrant community life at GSU.
Employers from various industries set up booths to recruit students for internships, part-time roles, and full-time positions. Students eagerly interacted with representatives, gaining valuable insights into career paths and networking opportunities.
Sophomore Maya Johnson, a business major, said, “It was incredible to have direct conversations with recruiters and get tips for improving my resume. This fair really opened doors for me.”
