Students interested in winning prizes for creating a holiday card are invited to submit their design before Oct. 9.
The Governors State University College of Arts and Sciences is sponsoring its first Annual Holiday Card Contest. The best designs will win prizes and will be featured by CAS. Judges from the department will select the winners.
For the last two years, Dean Jason Zingsheim has been creating holiday cards for the CAS faculty, staff, alumni donors, advisory board members, and community partners. CAS hopes to add a personal touch this year, so they created this contest.
“We have so many talented students, and we would love to showcase their work to all those who receive our card,” said CAS Promotions and External Relations Coordinator Stacy Amedeo.
The top three entries will be selected by judges. The top prize is a $100 gift card to the campus bookstore and a CAS swag bag. The winner will also receive 25 of their winning holiday cards to share with friends and family. The second-place entry will win a $50 gift card to the campus bookstore and a CAS bag. Third place will win a $25 gift card to the campus bookstore and a CAS bag.
What are your chances of winning? As of Sept. 26, there were no entries, so create your card and send it in.
