Radio Jaguar, the GSU student-run internet radio station, is running its third episode of “Jaguar Pride” on Thursday, March 7, with special guest Megan Lindsay.
“Jaguar Pride” airs most Thursdays at noon, hosted by Radio Jaguar Faculty Advisor and Media Studies Assistant Professor Dr. Lara Hrycaj. Each week Hrycaj will showcase the people, events and activities that make GovState proud. The March 7 episode features Lindsay, a Theater and Performance Studies lecturer and Governors State Dance Company Faculty Advisor & Coordinator in a discussion of the upcoming dance show “Body Language” and other GovState Dance Company related topics. If you miss this show on March 7, an encore presentation airs at noon on Monday, March 11.
Upcoming episodes of “Jaguar Pride” will feature discussions on upcoming GovState events: The Body Language dance show and the First Voice Story Slam.
On Thursday March 14 the second episode of “Booomin Sports” with Jason Gonzalez will air at noon. Gonzalez will be talking about the latest in national sports of interest to the GovState community. This will one of the few new shows airing on Radio Jaguar during GovState’s Spring Break March 11-17.
