Radio Jaguar, the GSU student-run internet radio station, is running its second episode of “Jaguar Pride” on Thursday, Feb. 29 with special guest Dr. Crystal Harris.
“Jaguar Pride” airs most Thursdays at noon, hosted by Radio Jaguar Faculty Advisor and Media Studies Assistant Professor Dr. Lara Hrycaj. Each week Hrycaj will showcase the people, events and activities that make GovState proud. The Feb. 29 episode features Harris, an Interdisciplinary Studies Assistant Professor and Student Learn Student Vote Campus Coordinator, discussing civic engagement at GovState, getting students registered to vote and the upcoming on-campus Super Tuesday Election Night Watch Party. If you miss this show on Feb. 29, an encore presentation airs at noon on Monday, March 4.
Upcoming episodes of “Jaguar Pride” will feature discussions on upcoming GovState events: The Body Language dance show and the First Voice Story Slam.
