Radio Jaguar, the GSU student-run internet radio station, is expanding its programming with a few new student-produced shows starting on Thursday, Feb. 8 with “Booomin Sports” and then “Fresh Ideas at Noon Mix” on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
“Booomin Sports” is hosted by media studies student Jason Gonzelez featuring the latest in professional sports. “Booomin Sports” airs at noon on the second Thursday of the month. The first episode on Feb. 8 features a discussion about the 2019-2020 pandemic NBA season. Future episodes will cover more current events in the world of football, basketball, soccer and more.
The next new radio show on Radio Jaguar is “Fresh Ideas at Noon Mix” with DJ Tam on Tuesdays from noon to 2 p.m. DJ Tam will be featuring a musical mix of artists from various genres and sprinkling in hot topics and current events and more. DJ Tam is media studies student Tamara Lemay. “Fresh Ideas at Noon Mix” premieres on Feb. 13.
