BSU mixer launches Black History Month celebration at GSU
Black History month at GSU started off with a sophisticated bang with a mixer hosted by the Black Student Union.
BSU partnered with the Alumni Association to bring faculty, alumni, and students from across the African diaspora to network and establish relationships. There were several speakers at the event such as the Black Student Union President, Vice President, and Treasurer: Michelle Marshall, My’Anna Perdue, and LaSoji Ward, respectively: GSU president Dr. Cheryl Green and Illinois State Rep.
