Places where the GSU community can help the people of Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has been raging for more than two weeks, and the nation’s citizens are suffering ever-growing hardships – housing in rubble, lack of food and water and a steady stream of refugees out of the country.

People around the world who are opposed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine are searching for ways to help the beleaguered victims of the onslaught. GSU students and staff confront these same concerns.

While the Phoenix has been unable to identify a specific organization or activity focused on helping Ukraine, GSU students, staff, faculty, and community members can help the victims of the invasion by visiting the organizations listed below.

The Phoenix will continue to monitor campus activities; if a specific fund emerges to help the people of Ukraine, we will post it immediately.

The invasion can bring additional stress for students and staff . Those who may be struggling or need any additional and further discussions, please visit  The Counseling and Wellness Center.
