Friendsgiving
Thanksgiving is just right around the corner and soon, we will be stuffing our stomachs and plates high with delicious home cooked food and spending time with family.
This year’s version of Thanksgiving among friends – Friendsgiving – came early to GSU. On Nov. 13, the Student Engagement & Intercultural Programs (formerly Student Life), hosted a Friendsgiving event in the Lakeside Lounge.
For those who don’t know what Friendsgiving is or have never heard of it, Friendsgiving is a time where for those who may or may not have a family have the opportunity to spend time with friends and fellow students and to then share a meal together. This year’s Friendsgiving was a big hit with a lot of delicious food made that was gone in a blink of an eye. We look forward to next year’s Friendsgiving and hope that everyone has a fun, relaxing Thanksgiving. Try not to get too stuffed on macaroni and cheese and ham.
