A new smartphone app informs Governors State University students about clubs, organizations and campus activities.

New GovState students might wonder how to connect with their peers outside the classroom. One way to keep up with what’s happening on campus is to visit Jaguar Connections, a website that lists all the extracurricular activities that engage students.

Another way to stay connected is the Corq app. It is convenient for keeping in the loop from a smartphone and has many features students can use to customize their experience. Filters allow students only to see the events they’re interested in, and search features will enable them to find info they might have missed.

Corq isn’t just for GovState students. It shares campus events nationwide, allowing students to see what is happening at other schools. The app also uses Google Maps API to provide directions for campus road trips.
