Beginning on Jan. 15, GSU TV moved to a new spot on CAN TV and is now broadcast on the third Wednesday of every month at 8 p.m.
GSU TV is a news broadcast that covers more than just events at Governors State University. It also highlights essential world news curated and produced by GovState students, including politics, sports and entertainment.
To become a reporter, producer, or editor for GSU TV, students must complete MST 2100 Introduction to Media Production (offered every Fall semester) or have equivalent experience. Contact GSU TV faculty advisor Professor Jessica Scott for further information.
CAN TV, also known as Chicago Access Network Television, creates and produces public affairs programming that addresses Chicago’s residents’ concerns, interests, and cultures. They also provide hands-on television production education and equipment.
Current and past episodes of GSU TV are also available on YouTube.
