With solid contributions from both starters and reserves, Governors State controlled the game from start to finish, taking a 43-30 lead at halftime and continuing to dominate in the second half.

Javon Johnson led the offensive charge with a game-high 21 points, shooting 9-12 from the field, including 3 of 4 from three-point range. Vincent Davis was a force on the boards, finishing with 15 points and a team-high 9 rebounds while also adding an assist and a steal. Tyrell Isom contributed 10 points, showing his efficiency from beyond the arc with 2 three-pointers on 2 attempts.
