Coming up on Monday Feb. 12, and Tuesday, Feb. 13, the Theater and Performance Studies at Governors State University will be hosting auditions for “The Exonerated.”
Directed by Dr. Patrick Santoro, this production is anticipated to shine light on some of the flaws of the United States criminal justice system. “The Exonerated” tells the story of six wrongfully convicted survivors who found their way to freedom from death row.
The audition is open to GSU students and staff as well as the outside community. Auditioners are expected to memorize a one- to two-minute monologue from a published text. Auditioners can submit their audition time slot here. The Exonerated | Wejoinin Call backs will be Feb. 15 in Sherman Hall.
